"[I asked for his [Stigile's] email] because of [Stigile's] outspokenness on the golf course," he said. "I don't know [how it will be useful]." --- Joe Jordan, Gazette 2/16/2011 | ||||

This is my email requesting that the City post my email on the City website. The City response follows at the bottom. |

From: "Art" <artsti@comcast.net> To: <mayorcouncil@rockvillemd.gov> Date: 02/21/2011 08:05 AM Subject: Posting email on City website Dear Mayor and Council, I want to reiterate two requests regarding Joe Jordan's FOIA requests that I made at the Feb. 7th Citizens' Forum: 1. That the City comply fully with Mr. Jordan's requests to be provided with copies of all email between me and City of Rockville email addresses, and 2. That the City post on the City website copies of all such emails provided to Mr. Jordan in response to his FOIA requests, so that the public can also read and enjoy them. I assume that the cost of posting these emails will be neglible because Mr. Jordan, as is customary for FOIA requests, will be reimbursing the City for the full cost of searching for these emails. My guess is that it would take a capable IT person no more than a half hour to post the few emails that I have sent. I am willing to help defray this incremental cost. Kindest regards, Art Stigile From : LAtkins@rockvillemd.gov Dear Mr. Stigile: I wanted to follow up on your email regarding MPIA requests. The City is required to comply with the MPIA requests from Mr. Jordan, and we are in the process of doing so. However the City will not be posting the documents responsive to Mr. Jordan's requests on the City's website. Thank you for contacting the City of Rockville. Sincerely, Louise Atkins
